What is MOMs?

It is a faith based organization geared towards meeting the needs of moms of young children. This includes expecting mothers, moms of infants, toddlers, and kindergarteners.  Everyone who fits in this category is invited!  You do not need to attend a specific church to come.

What happens at MOMs?

A MOMs meeting includes wonderful food and fellowship.  Instead of worrying about your children (since they will be well cared for by the childcare workers) you will be able to listen to engaging speakers, do creative activities, and have a safe place to share on issues relevant to moms and families today.  Outside of our meetings we have events to help you get connected to other moms who can relate and support you.

Current Opportunities To Serve

Help is needed in the following three areas:

  • Mentor (woman) - be a role model, friend and advisor to the moms.
  • Childcare Co-coordinator (woman) - would coordinate child care workers for each meeting.
  • Childcare workers (women, men, college students, teens) - would love on the little ones during the meetings.

Excited to join us?  We would love to have you! Moms are welcome to join us throughout the year.  Just check with us to see if there is a childcare spot available for your child.  You are more than welcome to check out a meeting first to see if you like it!

If you want to join or have any questions about Grace MOMs, please contact Coordinator Kerry Vadala or call the church office at 574-272-2040.

MOMs meeting dates:

We generally meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from October to May from 9:05-11:15 am at Rm 321 in the west building.
