Mission Statement:
- Children will feel welcomed, valued and cared for while learning who Jesus is, how to follow Him and grow in their relationship with Him.
Sonshine Seed Company (newborn - age 5)
- Seedlings (infants)
- Sprouts (one year olds)
- Little Buds (two year olds)
- Sonflowers (3-5 year olds).
The Little Buds and Sonflowers rooms will participate in a Bible story and take home a Biblical truth they can apply to their lives. Our prayer is that children will feel the love of God while in our care and have the desire to come back and learn more about Jesus.
FLIPT (K-5th)
- We want to FLIP our kids lives upside down so they live more like Jesus and less like the world.
- Our kids learn through drama, worship, large group Bible lessons and small group life application activities.
- In our small groups, children are led by adult shepherds. They discover what it means to apply God’s Word to their every day lives.
- This is offered during both services. Sunday School is offered during the 10:00 hour. Kids split into groups according to grade level and Biblical truths and life application are taught. Our goal is for kids to love and know Jesus more today than they did yesterday.
AWANA (age 3 - 5th grade)
AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is a program of Bible study and memorization. AWANA Clubs meet from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Children enjoy listening to Bible stories, memorizing Scripture, and playing games. Our purpose is to honor Jesus Christ and to make Him known. Our objective is to share the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ with all the children in the AWANA program. In addition, our aim is to help children memorize the Bible and learn its truths.
There are three segments provided each Awana night:
- Game Time Individual and team competition takes place in the gym through energetic and exciting activities.
- Handbook Time Kids work one-on-one with a leader to complete assignments in their handbook. Awana emphasizes memorization of key Bible verses that show how to know God and walk with Him. A series of awards and trophies reward achievements at every level as kids progress.
- Council Time Each club gathers together for singing, award distribution and a practical Bible message communicated through drama and creative Biblical teaching.
Wednesday evening childcare is available for children 0 through 3 years.
